This month, we talk about how fossils form, and why you don't find dinosaurs in Missouri!

What Is a Fossil / Dinosaurs of Missouri

Our topic for our May Science Club meetings is What is a Fossil and Why Don't We Find Dinosaur Bones in Missouri !

At our Science Club meetings this month, we are going to explore fossils: what are fossils and what do they tell us? We will explore a little about geology and learn why there aren't any dinosaur fossils in Missouri. We will then make our own "fossil" casts for everyone to take home.

Meeting Dates:

9:00 am, Saturday, May 8, 2010 (K-3rd Grade)

9:00 am, Saturday, May 15, 2010 (K-3rd Grade)

9:00 am, Saturday, May 22, 2010 (4th - 8th Grade)

9:00 am, Thursday, May 27, 2010 (mixed ages)
