November, 2010: Winter Wildlife!

Squirrels are fine, as long as they're not in your attic.Join guest presenter Ben Simmons as we explore Winter Wildlife at our November Science Club meetings.

Where do birds, bugs, and bunnies go in the winter? Join us at 9 a.m. on Saturday, November 13th/20th to find out the answers to these and other questions. We will discuss the winter homes and overwintering strategies of many types of local wildlife, including both warm- and cold-blooded creatures. This event will also include an overview of animal tracking techniques and a live snake demonstration.

Local nature enthusiast Ben Simmons has a B.S. in Wildlife Biology from Kansas State University.
