Meeting Dates
February 25th at 7:00 pm. Come, meet and enjoy two presentations from Eric Ward and Bruce Bradley about the world's largest science library (located at 51st and Cherry right here in Kansas City!). Eric will talk about the library's resources and its fascinating public programs. Bruce will talk about the library's extensive rare book collection (some of our Beagle Society members have actually had a chance to visit the rare book room).

Meeting Notes

Free for Beagle Society Members! Suitable for adults and older students. If you are not a Beagle Society Member, the fee is $5 per person for the meeting. Please give us a call at 816-587-9998 or email us at  clk@hms-beagle.com to let us know you will be attending. The Beagle Society is our Adult Science Club. Join others with professional and amateur interests in science as we explore a variety of science topics. Meetings are held on the 3rd Monday evening in January, March, May, July , September and November. (Please note the September meeting is on the 4th Monday to accommodate our speaker's schedule.)

Annual Membership is $25 for individuals and $45 for households. Membership is open to older students and adults.

Everyone is welcome. Please make reservations by calling us at 816-587-9998, emailing us a clk@hms-beagle.com or reserving your space on our website. We know you will want to join after this presentation! Beagle Society members participate in bi-monthly science discussions and programs ... and there are lots of other benefits!

Science Club Discounting Information

Times are hard, and you want to stretch your money where you can. H.M.S. Beagle now offers a 10% discount to Science Club members and their immediate families. This discount is good on all merchandise except for optics (binoculars, microscopes and telescopes) which receive a 6% discount. Sales items are excluded.
